  • Smart Contract Risk TLN Protocol operates via automated smart contracts on decentralized infrastructure. These contracts may contain undiscovered bugs or vulnerabilities that could result in unintended behaviors, including loss of funds. There is no guarantee that smart contracts will function error-free or be immune to exploits.
  • Collateral & Liquidation Risk When using VOW as collateral to borrow v$, your collateral values may drop. There is no guarantee of collateral values remaining consistent.
  • Token Burn & Deflationary Mechanisms Transactions involving V$ and vUSD incur a 1.6% burn fee on the receiver. These tokenomics affect your real returns and can gradually erode token balances. Users should consider these deflationary mechanics when planning liquidity, borrowing, or yield strategies.
  • Liquidity Risk All tokens tokens may be difficult to redeem in periods of low liquidity. Volatility may significantly affect the pricing of VOW, V$, vUSD and LP tokens in their respective pools.
  • 5. Protocol Changes The TLN Protocol may undergo upgrades and parameter changes over time that may alter its economic model.
  • Market & Volatility Risk Crypto markets are highly volatile. The value of VOW, V$, and TLN tokens may fluctuate widely, impacting your ability to repay loans or maintain healthy collateral ratios.
  • 7. Regulatory & Compliance Risk Decentralized finance operates in a fluid regulatory environment. Future laws or regulations may affect your ability to use TLN Protocol or interact with its components.
  • No Guarantee of Return The TLN Protocol may offer yield opportunities (e.g., 50% TLN Gold if you stake LP tokens for 12 months), but these returns are not represented in USD values as yields are minted by smart contracts. Yield and any return is subject to market conditions, burn mechanics, and smart contract functionality.
  • User Responsibility You are solely responsible for understanding how TLN Protocol and its associated tokens (VOW, V$, vUSD, TLN) function. Always conduct your own research (DYOR) and protect your private keys. TLN Protocol does not provide custodial services.

Why is my Collateral VOW showing as Waiting to Swap?

This is perfectly normal when you have first instigated a VOW Booster. It will show as zero for a period of time and then be updated to reflect how much VOW was purchased for you as well as the average price paid for the VOW.

This delay may be up to 7 days. The contract purchases VOW in a Defi manner once certain conditions are met. This process was designed to protect you - the borrower.

Whenever you take a loan, the price of VOW in the VOW / v$ pool at that exact time is recorded on chain and is locked to your loan.

Anyone can sell VOW to your loan position and take the v$ out at that market price or lower.

If the VOW price in the VOW / v$ pool grows higher than the VOW price in the VOW / v$ pool at the time you took the loan, by more than 30% then the contract will stop buy until the price drops nearer your entry price. This is to prevent manipulation of pool prices.

In addition to the above the purchase will only function when the v$ price is at a minimum price of 80c.
